Effective Date: October 1, 2026
Last Updated: October 1, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of AgentShelf's Services and is incorporated into the applicable agreement with Agentshelf Inc ("AgentShelf"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in that agreement.
Customer is responsible for its Authorized Users, Customer Agents, public agents and widgets, connected tools, Marketplace Content, and uses made under Customer-controlled credentials.
1. Illegal activity and harm
You may not use the Services to:
- violate applicable law or assist another person in doing so;
- facilitate violence, terrorism, human trafficking, exploitation, or credible threats of physical harm;
- create, solicit, store, or distribute child sexual abuse material or content that sexually exploits minors;
- stalk, harass, intimidate, discriminate unlawfully, or invade another person's privacy;
- facilitate the unlawful sale or procurement of controlled substances, weapons, or other regulated goods; or
- generate or distribute content that you know is materially fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawfully deceptive.
You may not configure or market the Services for minors or students under 18.
2. Security and platform abuse
You may not:
- introduce malware, destructive code, or malicious payloads, or conduct phishing or credential theft;
- probe, scan, or test systems without authorization;
- bypass authentication, permissions, rate limits, safety controls, usage limits, approval requirements, or provider restrictions;
- access accounts, data, models, tools, or systems without authorization;
- interfere with the integrity, availability, or performance of the Services;
- use the Services to coordinate denial-of-service activity, botnets, or malicious exploitation;
- reverse engineer or extract nonpublic source code, models, system prompts, or security mechanisms except where applicable law prohibits this restriction; or
- use automated means to create accounts, scrape restricted interfaces, or avoid applicable fees or metering.
Good-faith security research conducted under an AgentShelf vulnerability disclosure or written authorization is not prohibited.
3. Personal data and surveillance
You may not collect, infer, monitor, or process personal information without the rights, notices, consents, and lawful basis required for your use. You may not:
- conduct unlawful biometric identification, location tracking, interception, recording, or surveillance;
- infer highly sensitive traits for discriminatory, exploitative, or unlawful purposes;
- expose credentials, financial-account data, government identifiers, medical records, or other sensitive information without authorization and appropriate safeguards; or
- attempt to reidentify data represented as de-identified, except for authorized testing of de-identification safeguards.
4. High-impact and regulated decisions
Unless AgentShelf expressly approves the use in a separate written agreement, you may not use the Services to make final or solely automated decisions that determine a person's eligibility, selection, access, or terms for:
- employment or worker management;
- housing or lodging;
- credit, lending, insurance, or financial services;
- education admissions or material educational opportunities;
- healthcare diagnosis, treatment, or emergency triage;
- legal services or a person's legal rights;
- government benefits or essential services; or
- criminal justice, law enforcement, immigration, or similar coercive action.
The Services may assist qualified professionals in these areas, but Outputs do not replace professional judgment, and appropriate human review, testing, documentation, explanation, appeal, and nondiscrimination controls remain required.
AgentShelf may approve a specific high-impact use only through a written agreement that identifies the use and its required monitoring, recordkeeping, and other safeguards, which Customer must implement. Approval covers only the identified use and those safeguards. It does not waive the human-review requirements of the AI and Product Schedule or the Agreement's emergency-use restrictions, and it does not authorize conduct prohibited by law or by the terms of an enabled provider.
5. Deception, impersonation, and synthetic media
You may not use the Services to impersonate a person or organization without authorization, manufacture false evidence, or create materially misleading synthetic media for fraud, harassment, election interference, or other unlawful harm.
Public agents and automated communications must not be presented as human where that would be deceptive and must provide AI or automation disclosures when required by law or applicable provider terms or reasonably necessary to avoid deception.
6. Communications
You may not use voice, telephone, SMS, email, or messaging features for spam, unlawful telemarketing, spoofing, harassment, or communications made without required consent. You must:
- use valid sender identity and registration;
- maintain required consent records;
- provide required disclosures;
- honor opt-out and revocation requests promptly;
- comply with calling-hour, do-not-call, recording, transcription, and campaign rules; and
- avoid emergency calling or representing that the Services provide emergency communications.
The Voice and Messaging Schedule sets out detailed requirements for voice and SMS features.
7. Intellectual property and Marketplace Content
You may not upload, publish, distribute, or instruct an agent to use material that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights. You may not falsely claim ownership, manipulate marketplace reviews or rankings, distribute malicious or undisclosed behavior, or conceal material dependencies, permissions, or fees. Publishers must also comply with the Marketplace and Publisher Terms.
8. Model and provider restrictions
You must comply with restrictions applicable to enabled model providers and third-party services. You may not use the Services to circumvent a provider's access controls, geographic limitations, model safeguards, or usage policies.
9. Credentials, tools, and external actions
You must grant only the access needed and limit agents to appropriate tools and actions. You may not provide credentials you lack authority to use. The AI and Product Schedule sets out the approval and other safeguards required for consequential actions.
10. Enforcement
AgentShelf may investigate suspected violations and may limit, block, suspend, or remove affected content, agents, tools, integrations, or access, with or without notice. Suspension of account access is governed by the Agreement's suspension terms. AgentShelf may act immediately where necessary to prevent harm, protect the Services or third parties, comply with law, or respond to a provider.
AgentShelf may preserve and disclose information as required by law. Enforcement does not obligate AgentShelf to monitor all content or activity.
Report abuse, policy concerns, or security vulnerabilities to legal@agentshelf.ai. General product-support requests should be sent to support@agentshelf.ai.
11. Changes
Updates to this Policy follow Section 22 of the Platform Terms of Service or, if Customer has an executed Enterprise MSA, that agreement.
