This Privacy Policy explains how Agentshelf Inc, a Delaware corporation doing business as AgentShelf ("AgentShelf," "we," "us," or "our"), handles personal information through its websites, platform, applications, agents, widgets, marketplace, voice and messaging features, integrations, and implementation services (the "Services"). We offer the Services to businesses and other organizations.
1. Our role and our customers' role
Customers decide what information their users and agents submit and how their agents, integrations, public widgets, and communications are configured. When we process personal information on a customer's behalf, we act as its service provider or processor under the applicable agreement. The customer's privacy notice explains its use of that information. Requests about that information should ordinarily be directed to the customer; you may also contact us for help identifying the appropriate recipient.
We are responsible for information we use for our own account administration, billing, security, fraud prevention, service operations, customer support, website and marketing activities, marketplace administration, and legal obligations.
2. Information we collect
The information depends on the Services and features used:
- Account and business information: names, email addresses, telephone numbers, employer or organization, role, account identifiers, login information, preferences, and communications with us.
- Customer Content and AI responses: prompts, instructions, messages, files, knowledge sources, images, code, agent settings, credentials, integration data, information sent to or returned by tools, and AI-generated responses. This information may contain personal information supplied by a customer, its users, or people interacting with its agents.
- Public-agent, widget, voice, and messaging information: visitor and session identifiers, page context, conversations, contact details, telephone numbers, call and message details, recordings, transcripts, delivery events, and consent or opt-out records. Recording depends on the feature and customer configuration.
- Marketplace information: publisher identity, profiles, listings, published materials, installations, usage, reviews, reports, moderation records, and communications.
- Billing information: customer, subscription, invoice, transaction, and payment-status information. Stripe processes payment information. We receive limited payment details needed to administer billing and generally do not receive complete payment-card numbers.
- Usage and technical information: user, organization, workspace, agent, model and provider identifiers; features used; timing; token and computing consumption; costs; performance; errors; and security and audit events. These records can also include IP addresses and browser, device, and network information.
- Operational and diagnostic records: information used to operate, troubleshoot, support, and secure the Services. These records may contain Customer Content, including message excerpts, tool information, filenames, page addresses, and error details.
- Website and marketing information: information submitted through contact, waitlist, demo, newsletter, sales, and support forms; page and referring addresses; campaign and referral information; browser identifiers; and interactions with our websites. The information collected depends on the tracking tools and features enabled, including any session-replay features that record website interactions.
We receive information directly from people using the Services, automatically through their use, from customers and their connected services, and from our service providers. We may also receive business contact information from partners, referrals, or public business sources.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, personalize, and support the Services and carry out customer instructions;
- manage accounts, organizations, permissions, subscriptions, payments, and usage charges;
- deliver agents, integrations, public widgets, voice, messaging, and marketplace features;
- troubleshoot problems, maintain reliability, and protect against fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents;
- respond to inquiries, provide service notices, and send marketing messages where permitted;
- understand website activity, referrals, campaigns, and conversions;
- moderate marketplace materials and investigate complaints;
- comply with law, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, and protect legal rights; and
- evaluate or complete a financing, merger, acquisition, or other business transaction.
We also use usage statistics and technical information that is separate from Customer Content to understand feature use and improve the Services.
4. Customer Content and AI providers
AgentShelf does not use Customer Content or Outputs to train machine-learning models, including foundation models, and does not use their substance for general product improvement. "Outputs" means AI-generated responses and other content returned by an agent, model, tool, or workflow. This restriction also applies to copies or excerpts in operational and diagnostic records. We may process that content to provide the requested service, troubleshoot or support it, protect security, or meet legal obligations.
AI model providers and connected services receive information needed to carry out customer instructions. Their practices depend on the provider, model, account, agreement, and settings. Customers using their own provider accounts may have a direct relationship with those providers.
Some providers offer models, sometimes called "Contributor Models," under terms that allow inputs, responses, or feedback to be used for the provider's model or service improvement. That treatment is separate from AgentShelf's own no-training commitment. Any Contributor Model offered through AgentShelf is subject to special disclosure and affirmative organization-administrator authorization under the AI and Product Schedule.
5. How we share information
We share information as needed with:
- providers supporting hosting, storage, security, monitoring, support, and other service operations;
- AI model providers and customer-connected tools and integrations;
- Stripe and other providers supporting billing, accounting, taxes, and fraud prevention;
- providers and carriers supporting calls, messages, email, recording, and transcription;
- analytics, advertising, and marketing providers where those tools are enabled;
- the customer responsible for an account, workspace, public agent, or widget, including its authorized administrators;
- marketplace users when a publisher makes information or materials public;
- professional advisers and parties involved in a business transaction; and
- authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the Services.
We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing information with advertising providers for advertising across different businesses' websites or services may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws. The privacy choices described below apply to any such activity covered by those laws.
6. Cookies, tracking, and communications choices
Our websites, applications, and widgets use cookies, browser storage, tags, and similar technologies for requested features, security, personalization, analytics, and advertising or referral measurement. The Cookie and Similar Technologies Notice explains these technologies, when tracking starts, and the controls available on each surface, including browser settings and how we handle the Global Privacy Control signal. You may also contact legal@agentshelf.ai to exercise applicable privacy rights. We currently do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
You can opt out of marketing email using the instructions in the message or by contacting us. We may still send account, billing, security, and other service communications.
7. How long we keep information
Retention depends on the information, its purpose, customer instructions, applicable agreements, and legal requirements:
- Customer Content, including conversations, transcripts, and recordings, is kept to provide the Services and carry out customer instructions. Available deletion controls and retention settings differ by feature.
- Account, contact, and visitor information is kept for account management, customer relationships, requested personalization, support, and other purposes described in this Policy.
- Usage, billing, security, and audit records may be kept after an account closes for accounting, security, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations.
Account closure, export rights, and deletion obligations are governed by the applicable customer agreement; the Platform Terms of Service state the standard export and deletion terms. Deletion from active systems does not immediately remove archive or backup copies. Legal holds and other legal obligations may require information to be kept longer.
8. Privacy rights and requests
Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have rights to access or know about your personal information, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent, limit certain uses of sensitive information, or opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. You may also have a right to appeal a denied request.
Send requests, including appeals, to legal@agentshelf.ai. We may need information to verify your identity or authority to act for another person. Authorized agents may submit requests as permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
If the information is processed on a customer's behalf, we may refer the request to that customer or assist it under our agreement.
9. Security and processing locations
We use safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and measures to protect stored and transmitted information. No service can guarantee complete security.
We currently offer the Services to U.S. businesses. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate.
10. Minors and third-party services
The Services are for businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided personal information.
Third-party websites, models, tools, marketplace materials, and integrations have their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information or enabling them.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as our Services or practices change. We will post the revised Policy with its effective date and last-updated date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law. Changes affecting Customer Content or Outputs processed under a customer agreement remain subject to that agreement's data-use, notice and acceptance requirements. Posting a revised Policy does not itself authorize a new use of that information or a materially different use of previously collected Customer Content. The applicable DPA and legally required privacy rights and choices remain in force.
